Natalia Talamaga is an artist from Athens currently living in London, working on film, sound, writing and storytelling, photography, installation, painting and text exploring themes like feminism, trauma, lost of innocence, romanticisation of possessive acts.

She has an MA in Fine Art, specialising in Art & Social practice, from Middlesex University in London and a BSc in Psychology also from the University of Middlesex.

Her interest in the social construction of identity was initially developed through her former education in psychology and has since led to exploration of the concept of the ‘feminine’ as well as ideas about beauty and the erotic. From here she has progressed to explore strategies used by female survivors of domestic violence to empower themselves and restore a sense of self. This has included work with groups using photograph, writing and storytelling as a medium for introspection.
